This is a striking presentation of the environment, interior and exterior, in which the colonists of Old Deerfield, Massachusetts lived. The text and descriptions are based on Henry Flynt’s research combined with Samuel Chamberlain’s photographs. This is a revised and enlarged edition, dated 1972 and published by Hasting House publishers. The ocean blue cloth board cover has an embossed gold title. The overall condition is very good. The dust jacket has minor rubbing and some small tears to the edges. A map of Old Deerfield decorates the end papers. The book measures 10 by 7.75 inches and is 188 pages long. This very attractive book would be of interest to anyone interested in New England history, architecture, and antiques.
