Architectural Drawing

By C. F. Edminster

This book was written and published by C. Franklin Edminster an “Instructor in Department of Fine Arts, Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, New York.” It is the fourteenth edition enlarged. Edminster states in the preface “This book is planned to meet the demand for a treatise on elementary architectural drawing.” The book is 243 pages long and contains 10 chapters. The 7 black and white renderings and 109 line drawings have accompanying lessons that begin with simple geometry and progress to more complex architectural details. The book is in good condition, and the binding is still tight. There is an owner’s signature in pencil as well as light pencil sketches and computations on several of the line drawings. The boards have some light soiling from handling. It has been well cared for and overall it is a nice book.
