This book dated 1914 is not stated but presumed a first edition. This is from the “Bed Time Series” and is comprised of 31 stories, one with Uncle Wiggily. Written by Howard R. Garis and illustrated by Louis Wisa, it was published by R.F. Fenno & Company, New York. The pictorial gray cloth boards have a picture of three chickens in bright red, white and yellow. There is slight bumping to the corners and minor edgewear. There are 201 pages and it measures 8 by 5.75 inches. There is no dust jacket, as issued. The interior of the book has no writing and is very tight with minor toning. This is a good copy of a rare children’s book.
