This book, Sheep, Swine, and Poultry, by Robert Jennings V.S. was published in 1864 by John E. Potter and Company. It is a presumed first edition. The spine is only slight shaken and aside from a small corner tear on the blank front end paper, there are no torn or missing pages. The green cloth boards are in very good condition. They are embossed with black designs and gold titles on the spine. The boards measure 7¾ by 4¾ inches. There are 490 numbered pages and six pages of advertisements at the end. This uncommon book would make a nice addition to any collection.
