The Complete American-Jewish Cookbook: Bride's Edition

This book dated 1952 is presumed a first edition, the fourth printing, and Bride’s edition. Edited by Anne London and Bertha K. Bishov, it was published by The World Publishing Company, Cleveland and New York. The cream colored boards are decorated with a gold Menorah with the title and decorations in gold and blue on the spine. The dust jacket has a crease along the spine but otherwise is in good condition. The dust jacket states “Bride’s Edition, more than 3500 typical and traditional kosher recipes, washable binding, illustrated with over 250 photographs including 16 pages in full color and fully indexed.” and, “Thousands of tested kosher recipes and helpful hints for all kinds of cookery, glossary of special Yiddish terms, Passover recipes, calorie table, canning, freezing, and introduction to modern Jewish cookery.” The book has 623 pages and measures 9.25 by 6.25 inches. This book is in very good condition. This is a very comprehensive cookbook covering all aspects of Jewish Cookery.
